FarGo Village is inviting visitors to get into the festive spirit with winter markets and festive celebration nights in the heart of Coventry - with Santa and his elves due to stop by in the city’s creative quarter.

The weekends of December 3 to 4 and 17 to 18 will see FarGo Village’s biggest ever Christmas Makers Markets head to the Far Gosford Street space, with over 70 artisan makers across two indoor spaces, complete with live entertainment and independent food and drink vendors.

The team behind Coventry Dining Club, Digbeth Dining Club, will head to The Factory for four weeks until Christmas, bringing along their famous food traders and music.

The award-winning street food events company will be showcasing the best in street food traders each week from Friday to Sunday, with the World Cup shown on the big screen.

The creative hub is also hosting themed celebrations to suit a variety of tastes to help friends and colleagues come together and celebrate the festive season.

The FarGo Christmas Jazz Jam on Thursday, December 1, will see all-star performers Lily Dior, Simon Spillett, Bryan Corbett, and Ian Bateman join the house band for a night of classy entertainment.

FarGo’s Christmas Bierkeller will be serving German Christmas vibes on Friday, December 9 for a night of fun with Bavarian Oompah Band ‘The Bierkeller Schunklers’. Organisers insist that while lederhosen are optional, they are strongly recommended for maximum enjoyment.

On Saturday, December 3, 10 and 17 – and returning on December 22 and 23 – Santa will visit the village and meet and greet families in his own FarGo grotto.

An elf trail is also set to take over the village. Slots to meet Santa, and receive a small gift, are available to book online.

Holly, FarGo Village General Manger said: “We are really thrilled to be bringing new elements to our Christmas experience at FarGo this year.

“There’s something for all ages and as always we are championing the chance to shop and use the services of talented independent creative makers and businesses.”
