With the festive season just around the corner, Severn Trent Water is running an Auction of Promises to raise money for our corporate charity WaterAid.
Severn Trent are looking to collect pledges, and promises which they can use in the auction. Pledges can be anything, from access to a great venue to a gift. It would be brilliant to get some local business supporting this great cause.
Last year, supported by the Governments ‘Deliver Life’ campaign we raised a brilliant £3000 – a fantastic amount and enough to help 200 people transform their lives by accessing clean water and sanitation.
Pledges so far this year include tennis coaching, a guitar lesson and some great cakes! To make the auction a success Severn Trent need your help. The auction will run for the first two weeks in December, but they can’t hold an auction without having things to bid for!
Please send details of any pledges through to Jessica.fidler@severntrent.co.uk including your contact details and any details or restrictions of your pledge by Friday 2 December. The auction will be run online for the first few weeks in December.
