Business in the Community launch Career Conversations to support refugees in Coventry

Business in the Community has launched a new initiative in Coventry, Career Conversations, in partnership with World Jewish Relief and Coventry City Council, aimed at supporting refugees integrate in the British culture and life via meaningful employment. We are looking for business volunteers who would like to improve their coaching and mentoring skills by volunteering for a few hours a week in June-July 2019. 

Career Conversations is a series of workshops for refugees resettled in Coventry. Business volunteers would be partnered with a refugee ESOL learner from Coventry for 6 weeks during which time the business volunteers will practice conversation with ESOL learners and support them to search and apply for jobs, prepare for interviews and gain confidence.
